How can I tell differences from injuries?!

Question:

How can I tell differences from injuries?

Say you "sprained" your ankle. I don't understand Broken, Sprained, Strained, Rolled etc... whats the difference?

Answers:

When you sprain something it's a soft tissue injury and a broken bone is actually when you've broken a bone and it needs to be casted. They can be hard to tell the difference between a severe sprain and a break without x-rays, but generally a break is swollen, bruised, hard to move, painful to the touch, but it can be confused sometimes with a sprain so if you are in doubt I would get an x-ray to be sure that it's not broken because breaks are more serious than strains and sprains.
