Question:

My sleeping schedule got messed up...how do I get back on track?

I used to sleep 8-9 hours a day...then I went about 2 weeks sleeping very inconsistently 1-3 hrs a night, 30 min naps here and there. Now I go to sleep and wake up in 3-4 hrs and I cant go back to bed. But when im at work, im really tired and about to pass out. ANy tips?

I've been through tough jobs and law school. I'm a pretty hyper person and I cook along the day. I need my energy and have found myself in the same situation that you described. The only thing that has worked for me is taking sleeping pills right after dinner the first night I want to get back on the horse. I'll usually sleep that first night a good 8 -10 hours at least. I'll have a productive day and usually have no trouble falling asleep the next day. Over the years though, I have noticed that sometimes it takes 2-3 nights of the pills to get me back on track. This might not be the best answer out there but it has worked for me. Good luck with the Z's.
