Well it happened last night, My chiwawa gets grumpy when someone messes with him when hes asleep. It was late and I kinda got near his face so I could give him a kiss on the head. Then he snapped at me and he got me good on the top of my lips. I was just wondering when will this go away? I put ice on it last night and it wasnt swollen anymore now its just cuts.

Yes it will heal, but it will take some time. As long as it doesn't get infected (it would be red, painful, and possibly have puss coming out of it), it will heal on it's own. It probably will be painful for a little while, but you should be fine. If you would like you could buy some numbing cream to numb it until it doesn't hurt anymore. It could be a week or two until it's completely gone.
