Pain relievers always make me sick to my stomach - how can I take them?!

Question:

Pain relievers always make me sick to my stomach - how can I take them?

I suffer from occasional migraines. Excedrin Migraine works wonders and knocks out my migraine but makes me very sick to my stomach. Then I get the worst nausea and stomach ache that lasts for hours. How can I take Excedrin without it wreaking havoc on my stomach?

Answers:

Take them with meals and avoid drinking/eating dairy products. This means.. get to at least halfway in your meal, take the pill, then finish. If you have something in your stomach, it will help prevent nausea. If you are still having problems, try taking them with a little bit of mylanta so it coats your stomach to avoid irritating it or taking only half a dose.
