What can I do to help my soreness!?
I have been doing cheerleading and I am SUPER SUPER sore! I feel like an old lady! I cant move! I know there is not much to do other than just keep moving but is there any good secrets to helping it? heating pads, hot baths, ibuprofien? anything other than that!?
Answers:
Hot bath and stretching those muscles. But, most important, I can't emphasize drinking a LOT of fluid. When muscles are used a lot, they release toxins and the accumulation of toxins (lactic acid is one) can make them feel horrible. Dehydrated muscle tissues are the worst, so I can't encourage you enough to hydrate; before and after cheerleading.
