What is difference between sex in porn movies and real sex?!

Question:

What is difference between sex in porn movies and real sex?

Answers:

1) The people who star in porn movies, by and large, do not look like the average person on the street. They are usually the result of a LOT of plastic surgery, liposuction, breast augmentation, hair removal, tons of hours spent in the gym, and more. Porn stars routinely bleach the naturally brownish hue of their anuses, sometimes get labioplasty surgeries to create a tighter, more streamlined look to their vaginas, and oftentimes use what is called 'p*ssy glue' to hold the outer labia apart (which does not occur naturally), etc., etc.. Both the women and men in porn go through tons of air-brushing. My point is that porn stars rarely represent the average man or woman, and nobody should expect anyone to fit to that standard of breast size, weight, penis size, etc., etc..

2) The average male penis is about 4-6" long when fully erect. The average male penis in a porn movie is probably double that. And I hear tons of men complain "How do porn stars get their penises that big?" and think that all men are like that- it isn't true. Male porn stars with bigger-than-normal penises represent the abnormal and rarely occuring, and because of their endowments, often seek out porn. Similarly, don't believe that all men shoot enormous loads of semen. Many times, porn stars wait and abstain from sex/masturbation to allow for a lot of forcefully-expelled ejaculate. Oftentimes, post-orgasm, while the cameras are off, a fake substance (water mixed with cornstarch, yogurt, etc.) is dribbled wherever the ejaculate was supposed to have landed to create the illusion of a more copious ejaculation. Most men actually dribble their semen, although they certainly spurt and shoot, too, but don't worry if you just dribble a little instead of rocket-launch a lot- that's normal. And porn stars are chosen because they can last so long and have marathon sex, when in reality, many men suffer from premature ejaculation and climax very quickly. Don't measure yourself against porn stars- even if it is admirable to want and try to last longer. Basically, don't believe that what you see in porn is true for the rest of the public.

3) In real life, the majority of women cannot climax through only penis-in-vagina intercourse. In order to produce lubrication and become aroused (so that their uteruses can ascend, thus lengthening the vaginal canal to even better accomodate a penis), most women require erotic stimulation in the form of kissing, petting, and clitoral stimulation. Very few women have vaginal orgasms- most women come clitorally. Try to find that reality in most porn, however, and you'll come up short- finding good, lengthy male-on-female cunnilingus or digital (finger) stimulation of the clitoris bringing a woman to orgasm is almost null. Female porn stars are mostly faking their orgasms (though there are some nice exceptions of women in porn who do have real orgasms), and 'squirting' (female ejaculation) is a real phenomenon, but not nearly as prevalent, nor as easy, as porn would make you believe. Most women in porn who claim to squirt are either urinating or have previously filled their vaginal cavities with some other liquid (watered milk, water with cornstarch, etc.) that they later expel, in order to mimick female ejaculation. Yes, women do female ejaculate, but a minority, not a majority, do it, and even then, many women simply have a "gush" of extra moisture at climax, and don't squirt or shoot at all. Always remember when you watch that what happens on the screen isn't AT ALL the way women respond to and enjoy sex.

4) In real life, safe sex is more than just putting on a condom before vaginal intercourse. Most porn movies forgo condoms during fellatio, dental dams during cunnilingus or ananlingus, latex gloves during manual simulation, etc.. If you want to be truly safe and disease-free, it is essential to remember that safe sex has a lot more to it than what porn movies show.

5) Sex in real life is of course not as simple and easy as it is in porn. While I'm not barring the possibility that yes, you will deliver a pizza to a house with a gorgeous woman who has no money and decides to pay you with sex, I'm also going to put odds on that happening being one in a million. Porn is meant to show people having sex, and to save everyone's time and money, they skip portraying the real way sex happens, with people feeling a mutual attraction, flirting, possibly falling in love, sitting on the bed discussing safe sex, their sexual histories, their likes and dislikes and limits, and finally going to bed. Porn doesn't take into account the fact that people often need adjustments ("To the left! Harder! Softer! Ow, not like that! Um, this isn't working for me, let's try something different."), that oftentimes men and women climax at different times (in porn, it's always either simultaneous with the man or not at all for the woman), and that women often want a lot of wooing, and romance, and sensuality and commitment before they'll get into bed. Porn relies on the sl*t concept- all women want it, they want it now, and they'll give it up instantly to whoever walks through the door. And that's fine- hey, it's porn. But never think that, or expect it, from women in real life.

6) In real sex with male-to-female transsexual women (women who used to be men and still have their penises), most of them are unable to become erect and have sex (the female hormones that they take make it very difficult to get hard). Yet time and time again in "shemale" or "chicks with dicks" porn, you'll see T-girls with raging hard-ons. Usually, they are in fact either prosthetics or the result of computer graphics added in later, as it's very rare for any transwoman along in her transition to have such capacities.

7) In real life, not all women are bisexual. Porn would try to convince you otherwise- that all women want to jump in the sack with another woman, all women want to have threesomes with a man and another women, and, of course, all lesbian women aren't really gay, but just waiting for the right man to come along. In reality, there are lesbian women, and straight women, and heck, even some bi-curious and bisexual women (I count myself among them!), but they aren't all lusting for women and men together. Remember that. And, while we're on the subject of lesbians, keep in mind that almost all lesbian porn is produced by men, for men, often using straight porn actresses. That means that it rarely represents what real lesbians do in bed together. Real lesbians come in a lot more shapes and sizes (like butch or tomboyish women- almost impossible to find in feminine-feminine lesbian porn), and the sex they have is quite different from what men imagine lesbians do (most lesbian porn that I've seen shows women giggling, cautiously exploring, doing a lot of pointless sucking on dildos and having very gentle foreplay- what happened to women having real, rough, passionate sex with one another?).

8) In real life, sex takes a while. Women can't just take a very big, long, wide penis in their vaginas or rectums just like that. Most women struggle with deep-throating during oral sex. The ease of these acts that you see in porn are because, well, they're porn stars. They are skilled in what they do, meaning that they can take big objects and take 'em easily with a smile. They rarely have a gag reflex.

9) Don't believe those pornos that are out to convince you that they pick women/men up off the street or that they trick guys and girls to coming on their bus to have sex. This set-up is a fantasy for a lot of people- the idea that some average girl off the street could be convinced to do porn for the right price. But in reality, these are staged, and the men and women who have agreed to it beforehand act out being picked up. That's all it is. Similarly with the pornos that pretend to kidnap people, or put unwilling people into bondage- if it's a big-name production (versus, say, a VHS you found in the gutter), it's all acting.

10) Sex positions in porn are devised for one purpose and one purpose only- to get good camera angles. The camera needs to be able to do close-ups on the genital action, and a lot of time, positions that are really good for sex in real life aren't too good for filmed sex. So you get a lot of repetitive sex positions in porn that don't reflect the sheer variety and pleasure that real life, with all its other positions, offer. Different things allow for different sensations- certain positions give better G-spot stimulation and whatnot, but you won't see them in porn.

Those are the top ten I can think of, but you're always better off remembering that porn is acting, and that it is a fantasy. It is not meant to be real, and it's not meant to portray what actual sex is like. Any time you start believing it to be true, take a step away- it's full of airbrushing, computer graphic effects, faking of certain parts, and so on. It can definitely be fun if you don't take it seriously.

Hope that helps!
