Have you ever tried electrolosis?

I am really tired of shaving my underarms, I have tried to use Veet, but the hair grows back so fast. I could save up the money for it because I heared it is expensive. Did it hurt badly? Was it worth it? And is it the same thing as laser hair removal?

I am having laser to my back right now. Much quicker than electrolysis, but quite painful the first time. They describe it as a "hot grease splatter" sensation and they are pretty darn close to the truth. However, it becomes less painful with each session. To have your underarms done would be quite a short session, and would probably get shorter each time.
