How to reduce swelling in my knee?
I had surgery a few days ago to remove a tumor in the back of my leg/knee. I have a large incision and 20 stitches. My knee/leg is VERY swollen. They just told me to keep it elevated but the swelling isnt going down. Can I use ice safely?

Yes, ice is very good for swelling. Imagine the pain you feel from the stress of swelling on your stitches... Don't let it get too cold, but ice will help you...definitely.
I can't believe the dr didn't tell you this.
