Any tips for flying with a foot injury?!

Question: Any tips for flying with a foot injury?
I just underwent a minor surgery on my toe yesterday and my toe is wrapped up in gauze and I'm walking in special shoes. Is there anything I should worry about while flying? Or just basic stuff like watching where I walk? Any tips to help any discomfort I may face while in flight?

Thank you so much, again it was just a minor surgery.

Answers:

for any surgery you really should not fly for two weeks but there can be exceptions. if you do fly you run the risk of a blood clot so you have to make sure you keep your legs moving during the flight. call the doctor before. just walk slow and take it easy. bring ice or ask for ice and find somewhere to keep it elevated

Call ahead and talk to the airlines and they will let you board the plane at the head of the line. Will you need a wheelchair? You need to let them know and they might ask you as to who will be picking you up when you land. They might pass that name onto security

I dunno, but be careful walking through security when you gotta take you shoes off
