Question:
Why do I get a metal taste in my mouth after taking a rolaids or tums?
Answers:
There can be many causes of metallic taste. One is, believe or not, a tooth filling can cause this. Also, if you have stomach problems, and it seems as if you do, this can also cause the same taste only on a more serious note. You could have a very small bleeding that you are not aware of. I you are taking Rolaids on a regular basis, you need to see a doctor. Take it from one who has ulcers, they are no fun and can really hurt. At least be on the safe side and get it checked out.
