Anyone else experience this? (girls only)?

whenever i'm on period, i always get insane cramps and really bad gas..and togeter it hurts like crazy. so when i go to the bathroom, it sorta hurts..like not burns but it feels like someone's sticking something up my rectum..and sometimes i'm just randomly sitting there and the rectum feeling just comes..
so is this totally weird, or does anyone else get this?
any advice on how to keep it to a minimal?

I know exactly what you are talking about. Usually when I know I'm about to get my period I really try to make sure that I have gone #2 the day before I start. I don't know why it helps, but it does. I also make sure to take hot baths during my period. And then, of course, you have to take some sort of pain reliever. Midol is popular, but I personally like any type of Ibuprofen. (Advil, Motrin). I think Tylenol makes a "female" pain reliever.
