Sore Right Leg?!

Question:

Sore Right Leg?

Sore Right Leg?
I have had a right sore leg since last Wednesday it hurts on and off from the knee up to my hip/pelvic area it hurts to bend over, move in certain positions, twist etc. It dont hurt too bad when I am standing up, walking or sleeping it seems to hurt most when I am sitting up in a chairI've been taking advil and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt do too much for the pain, its not an unbearable pain but it does hurt and I'd like to know what it could possibly be ?
It's the back part of my leg that hurts around the knee and the side hurts as it goes further up.
Also last Tuesday I had lifted a computer tower, its not a very heavy one maybe that could have something to do with it as well.

Answers:

Yeah, it does sound like Sciatica. Basically, what this means is that something somewhere is pinching your Sciatic Nerve causing the radiating pain. Often times a bulged or slipped disk in the lower back (lumbar region) will cause the pain as the disk pinches the nerve. However, you're not complaining of any back pain, so I'm thinking you may have inflammation and/or tight muscles in your hip/leg area. That's what I suffer from. When I stand for lengths of time, it hurts to step, twist or put a lot of weight on my right hip (my pain is centralized in my hip). My doctor gave me scripts for anti-inflammatory, as well as muscle relaxant pills. After I've sat down for a while, I feel much better. Physical Therapy or chiropractic adjustments could help. See your doctor.
