got a really bad headache? how to get rid of it?!

Question: Got a really bad headache? how to get rid of it?
Answers:

Headaches are caused by tight neck muscles. They go to the top of your head where they connect to muscles going around your head. When the neck muscles get tight, which is easy for them to do, they pull on the head muscles putting them into pain and that's your headache. To get rid of the headache you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about one minute, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Headaches can depend on the cause. Are you stressed out about something? If so do something that relaxes you and that should help some. Hormones can also have an affect on headaches which is why women are more likely to get migraine headaches than men. Advil, Tylenol or Aleive all are good choices for medicine - take them as directed on the packaging. Some studies have shown that dehydration can make a headache worse so drinking lots of water works well for some people (a gal I work with does this when she feels a headache starting and avoids it getting worse). I get migraine headaches and the best thing I've found for me is some Excedrin Migraine, water, and resting in a dark quiet room. Good luck and I hope you feel better!

Personal experience

the best remedy is to sleep it off, but if that is not possible you can always take ibuprofen or asprin or tylonol or any other pain reliever.

When I have a really bad headache, I go to sleep and the when I wake up I feel way better
