Wisdom teeth removed on June the 8th... still in a lot of pain... is this normal!

Question:

Wisdom teeth removed on June the 8th... still in a lot of pain... is this normal?

Hi. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out on June the 8th. I was put under an anesthetic that didn't knock me out completely, but made me really giggly before surgery. I have noticed some things that I'm kind of concerned about.
1. My jaws are still swelled, even though I have iced them.
2. I am still having pretty bad pain on my bottom two *especially the bottom right*.
3. My jaw is very stiff. And when I go to do the exercises to get the muscles unstiff (lol), it just hurts so bad.
4. I can barely eat anything.

Is this stuff normal?

Answers:

Call your oral surgeon - you may have "dry socket" which is quite painful.
