I feel as though I'm being blacklisted by my local medical practitioners...!

Question: I feel as though I'm being blacklisted by my local medical practitioners....is there anything I can do?
I am disabled, let's just start with that. I have Medicaid, and Medicare. My disability is not physical, yet I do have a physical disability...some sort of back and hip problem that basically keeps me from walking.

Every time I've tried to seek help for my physical problem, I have been shunned, degraded, and talked down to...in addition to this, I've had the local hospital and three other clinics refuse to take me as a patient, or take me in then get the Medicaid and Medicare money, and blow me off/dismiss me by giving me poor, unprofessional, and even HIGHLY rude treatment.

And no, I'm not being paranoid. I had a slip and fall down the stairs at my townhouse several months ago. I went to the hospital in my town immediately. Not only did they make me wait for over eight hours, continuously bumping me down their list of priorities, but they ignored my disability rights. In the end, they removed me from their database (and no, I wasn't complaining whatsoever) and when I asked why they refused to tell me.

I ended up driving over 35 miles to a larger metropolis, where I got the type of care you would expect of a professional hospital. They took like 15 x-rays of my back, gave me an anti-inflammatory shot (which is all I was expecting, or wanting....no NOT drug seeking), which immediately relieved my pain, and they even referred me to a specialty clinic. They treated me with such respect, I actually started crying....if that tells you anything about what I've gone through with the medical community here.

Here's the problem: the same doctors that work at the specialty clinic THERE work at the one HERE that already blew me off, and treated me shabbily. I did report all of this to the Medicare quality of care ppl, so the hospital got put on notice, but if all the docs around here are either related or bffs...what am I supposed to do? What can I do about the poor treatment I'm receiving....besides moving to Canada I mean? ;P

I would prefer for a licensed MD, an attorney or lawyer to answer this; as it's become that severe of a problem. I REALLY need help with my back...and I don't know how to get it! Other than driving to my state capital which is about 2 hours away, I don't know what else to do....and I'm really in no position to do so with gas prices being what they are. HELP!

Trollish answers will be reported!!!

Answers:

you need to contact a Lawyer in your town or a town or city that is some miles away so there will be no conflict of interest that deals with these type of problems or have the medicade professionals refer you to someone close by to take your case if what you have said to be true then you have the right to report and sue these "professional MDs" for them not providing you with care and treatment now their bed side manners cant be dealt with all doctors are that way
