Tips for removing splinters lodged deeply under fingernail?!

Question:

Tips for removing splinters lodged deeply under fingernail?

About 1hr. ago, I got a large splinter lodged under my fingernail, but it is SO close to the edge of the nailbed, I can't get to it. I tried hot water and pushing it towards the tip, no luck yet.... and now I'm trying the yolk/salt paste. Does anybody know if this really helps draw it out or have any other tips? It is towards the outside bed of my ringfinger, if that helps any! Thanks in advance!

Answers:

what you basically have to do is just let the nail grtow then take it out...but if the splinterm is to deep inside the fingernail then do the following....first disinfect a neeedle but you need a person with a steardy hand so they can be able to take it ou. next pull the skin of the begining of the splinter to be able to pull it out with tweezers....if you need more help just email me at Colomb1an_Pr1de_alltheway@yaho... aunt is a nurse so she should know much better. but ill try to get more tips for you.
