Had hip replacement on 30th of May~ now feeling flu-like symptoms... Suggestions?
I am actually recovering quite well and feel very little hip/incision pain but I have been having flu like symptoms off and on since the 3rd. My white count was SLIGHTLY elevated (according to the ER) but nothing to be concerned about. I have been running a slight fever (nothing over 101) with an upset stomach and general malaise. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow and am looking for suggestions of what it might be. Thanks in advance.

You may be having slight reaction to your after care medication or from your anistetic. With the fever though, I would make sure that you discuss infection, any time you have surgery you run the risk.
