Any paramedics out there?
i have always wanted to be a paramedic when im older.
is there any paramedics or people who know paramedics who could give me some info about what the job is like.
any help would be appreciated

The job of paramedic is probably a lot different to what the general public think. The job can also depend on where you work. In Australia (QLD) we are required to do 3 years of training to become qualified as a paramedic. It is a great job though not for everybody. A lot of the job is quite tedious and not all exciting as some people percieve. If you enjoy being eposed to ALL different types of people and not 2 days are the same, perhaps it is for you. I think you need to have plenty of life experience and time working in other jobs before considering applying to work as a paramedic. This will help you to work out if the job is for you.
