Answers:

You have a cold and that means your neck muscles have tightened up as well for that's what gives you the sore throat. The neck muscles go to the top of your head passing just inside the ear. When the neck muscles are tight, or when you swallow, the muscles can touch the nerves going to your ears to cause that noise. Freeing up your neck muscles will give you throat relief and get rid of the ear noise and here's how to free them up:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about one minute, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Could be an ear infection... Lie on a heating pad with THAT ear on it, put a small towel down first in case you ear drains! Good Luck!

think you have an ear infection.
