Question:
I've been having intermintent severe side pain, especially after I eat. What could it be?
I went to my doctor, she thought it was my gallbladder, so I went for an ultra-sound, and it came back that I didnt have any stones. I'm really worried because I was for sure it was my galbladder...Any ideas?
Even though I had the ultra-sound, could I possibly be pregnant? Just to early to detect it maybe?
Answers:
It could be ulcerative colitis. An ulcer in your colon caused by stomach acids that have not been neutralized yet. The pain really comes on after you eat and the food is ejected from the stomach to the small intestine. Your doctor can order a test to diagnose this. This is a complete guess, as it could a number of things.
