How intense is the pain when you get your nipples pierced?
I want to get my nipples pierced but I am afraid I won't be able to tolerate the pain. Can anyone who has had this procedure done give me some insight.

I have had it done on both sides. Took them out years later and let them heal over - sometimes I was tired of them showing through tighter shirts...a ball can look like you have 2 nipples on each side :)
Anyway, the pain of the piercing is no problem. The tongs that they use to flatten and secure your nipple before the piercing are what hurt, lol! But nothing unbearable. It goes quick, and the endorphin rush a few seconds later takes care of the rest and gives you a nice high. However, an hour later, there is a nagging, pulsing pain. But you'll be excited about the piercing, so you won't care. Just don't bump it, because it *is* very tender. Again, you'll live. My best friend, who is a total pain wuss had it done twice with no problem either. Just make sure you go to a reputable, clean place. Have fun!
