I take methadone daily as prescribed, Is it still okay to say my clean date is Sept/06 in NA?

I'm in NA so does taking methadone affect my clean time since I'm not abusing it

If you have been actively participating in Narcotics Anonymous, you would not be asking this question. Especially if you have less than a year clean. Where is your sponsor, shouldn't you have been discussing this before you ever agreed to take the methadone as a medical treatment.
You are manipulating, just as addicts do. I know because I am an addict in recovery with 7yrs clean and have to take prescribed medications. If you were not manipulating you would have asked this question in a meeting.
Take off the mask, because you are not doing yourself or anyone else any favors going into a meeting, lying. At the end of the day, you are still gonna have to face yourself and in recovery that is crucial!!! Go to the meeting, tell the truth and get a Sponsor, if you want to, but don't be one of those that just goes to NA for something to do. You said you are in NA,you are not, you just go to NA meetings. If you were in NA you would be working the steps and not manipulating and looking for validation on Yahoo Answers.
Sorry for the harsh words, but I truly mean every one of them and you need to hear them. They might just save your life.

P.S. you need to realize that some people on hear read all of your other answers you should be consistant with them or you may just end up with egg on your face.
