Question:
Vicodin ES, 1 or 2 every how many hours?
I take two for pain from my oral surgery. It dosn't say how long apart I should wait to take them.
Vicodin ES is 7.5/750mg and im taking two so thats REALLY 15mg/1500mg at A time.
YES my doctor told me two is fine but no more at one time, but the problem is I do not know how long apart to take more.
6 hours I would think, right? I know that I can only take 5 a day but thats all it really says.
Is My doctor Correct as far as telling me taking two will be fine? I know I shouldn't doubt my doctor, but im just wondering if all that tylenol in one dose is dangerous. I dont drink and my liver is healthy. Any help would be great, thanks.

He didn't give you a frequency on your script? That's unusual. Six hours apart is probaby a good idea, but you really need to get in contact with him.
As long as you take less than 4 grams of acetaminophen per day, you'll be fine. That's the usual limit my patients are given on their Tylenol doses.
