Answers:

Is your neck out of alignment? can be a major cause of headaches - after dehydration. (This might need manual manipulation by an osteopath or chiropractor)

Have you had your eyes checked recently? Could be either visual problems or glaucoma (the pressure in glaucoma causes headaches in some people) If either of these it needs to be checked by an optometrist.

Are you sleeping with an open window, with a draft on the back of your neck or head? (If so, try sleeping with the window closed)

How old are you? Is it possibly a change in hormones? If so, then liver cleansing can help to clear hormones out of your body - hot water with lemon juice in it first thing every morning, Milk Thistle (St Mary's Thistle/Silybum marianum) tablets can help the liver perform better.

Are you stressed and grinding your teeth in your sleep? This can increase tension in the TMJ and cause severe headaches. Try having tea made from chamomile, lavener, oats or passionflower before going to sleep so that your sleep is more relaxed. Sleep with a mouth guard to help prevent teeth grinding.

Do you have hypertension? This can cause headaches, and needs to be addressed.

Could it be due to sinus problems? Try sleeping in a dust free/pollution free environment. Might be helped by breathing steam with eucalyptus oil in it.

There are so many causes of headaches, I've just outlined some of the more common ones, and hope this helps a little. I wish you all the best.
