Can a knee that pops out of joint be a sign of damage?
I stepped up to my truck Friday and my knee gave away.It took me about 15-20 minutes before I could put any weight on it.It continued to "give out" (maybe popping out of joint) several times during the weekend.
I went to ortho yesterday.They said that I had just aggrivated my arthritis and gave me a shot in the offending knee.If it still bothers me in 2 weeks they will order a mri.
It doesn't feel like my usual arthritis pain.And would aggrivated arthritis make my knee unstable?

Yep it sure will. I have that same issue. Sometimes it just friggin pops out of alignment and oft times it can be really painful. I have bad arthritis in both knees so I really do "feel your pain".
