How do I increase blood flow to upper back? I pulled a muscle up there?!

Question: How do I increase blood flow to upper back? I pulled a muscle up there?
Answers:

Heat always increases the flow of blood to an area, your best bet is to first try an old-fashioned hot water bottle or a heating pad. You can also elevate the lower half of your body higher than the upper half. Motrin works great for pulled muscles, too.

Your question is not clear.

Basically, use a massage oil. Eucalyptus base would be good. Ask in any pharmacy.
Gently massage the strip of muscle, approx. 1-2 cm parallel / to each side of the central spine line, moving from the lower back to the upper shoulders.

Do not apply too much pressure. For best response, apply hot and cold packs before massage.
