Help, I pulled a calf muscle!?!

Question: Help, I pulled a calf muscle!?
I pulled a calf muscle while running. My trainer said it's the smaller one, but it kills. I have to run a One Mile event in a varsity track meet tomorrow! What are the quickest ways to heal, and reduce pain?

Namename, I would like you to try this to see if it help you. Sit in a chair and place your hands on your chest or stomach. Now twist as hard as you can to the left. Note how far you got then do the same to the right. You are going to find that one direction went further so start in that direction. Twist as hard and far as you can in that direction for 30 seconds. Rest for 15 seconds and then repeat that cycle twice more. Now do the same movements in the opposite direction 3 times. Stand behind either a chair or the back of a sofa or stand in front of a wall. Lift up the foot of the injured leg. Now using only the calf muscles of the uninjured leg do 10 calf raises. Rest for 1 minute. Repeat this cycle twice more with that leg. Now switch legs and try that with the injured leg 3 times. Lastly, assume a long sitting position and keep the knees straight. Have the muscles of the feet pull them back towards the shins. The only movement that occurs is at the ankles. You will know that it is working as there will be a pulling sensation in the calves. Hold that pull for 10 seconds then rest for 5 seconds. Repeat that cycle until you have done 10 reps. Get up and move around. There should be less pain and more strength in the calf. Do this at least twice a day. Also do this before you compete and after.

Ice it and stay off it. This is the fastest way, even if it doesn't completely heal by tomorrow. You might not be able to run :(
