Too thirsty?
I have felt a little more than normally thirsty lately, but the problem is when I drink something water, or whatever, not alcoholic stuff, I drink the whole thing, and these are not small cups.
I am taking meds for type 2 diabetes, but my sugar level has been fine.

You should definitely call your doctor. These are symptoms of diabetes insipidus, unrelated to diabetes mellitus...instead of dealing with sugar and insulin regulation, it deals with how your kidneys regulate fluid.
