Can you bruise your spine?
I went on some rollarcoasters yesterday and was jerked around quite a bit and my back kept smacking back and forth against some of the seats. Now there is a spot right on my spine that hurts if I touch it or lean up against it. It is also turning darker at that spot, like it is going to bruise. Can you bruise your spine? Also, is this something that will heal with just some rest and relaxation for a few days?
Answers:
Rest, relaxation and alternating hot and cold packs. The hot packs will make it feel better, but the cold packs are what help the healing and reduce the swelling.
