im a acidic person my problem is all my silver necklace turn to black when im wearing it...i ask my uncle why my necklace turn to a darker color everytime i wear it...he said because im a acidic person..is that true if you are acidic some of your jewelrys turn in a darker color?if it is..what is the best cure to a acidic person..thnx help me pls

I understood that silver always tarnishes. Silver forks, knives and spoons go black, even if no-one is touching them, if they are exposed to the air. I have a silver-plated pitcher that sits on a shelf, and after I polish it it turns black again within a month. If your uncle thinks it is because you are an acidic person, maybe he hasn't noticed that all silver tarnishes naturally, just being exposed to the air. I have never heard of someone being acidic.
You can get silver polish to remove the tarnish. But silver polish does remove a tiny bit of the silver each time you use it. The silver cleaners that are liquid, that you dip the piece into to clean them, remove more silver than the paste polishes. Things that are silver-plated and get polished often end up showing the other metal underneath.
