Do you think I can become a dentest?
I want to be an orthodontest. I'm pretty much smarter then everyone I know. I know a really lot of stuff for my age of which is 25. I am great at working with my hands and Im good at tests. I have a 2.4 GPA from a communnity collage and was told I really excelled at everything. I also was happy with my 16 on the DAT. Do you think I can get into dentel school?

Grace, I'm not trying to be mean, just realistic here. I was accepted to dental school. As I mentioned before, average GPA for accepted students is 3.6. Average DAT score is 19-20. I don't think you will get any bites with a 2.4 GPA from a CC (when most schools don't even accept many if any CC credits) and a 16DAT. Those scores are mediocre at BEST! You need to go to a 4 yr school and raise that GPA A LOT and retake the DAT. For you, it will probably be a 5 year process at LEAST and only if you do well.
Medicine/Dentistry is NOT for everyone.
