I'm on the methadone program..I would like for people on the program also to share their experiences with me

I'm on 100 mgs a day..I dose in the morning and have been I the program almost a year

I started @ 30mgs in the beginning but I ended up @ 100mg about 3 mths ago

I've been on the program for a couple years now. My dose is at 150 mgs a day. I used to live in Cincinnati Ohio & going to the clinic there was awful. Mainly because there's a major shortage of clinics in that area despite everyone there being hooked on OC's & dogfood. The only clinic available is in eastern Indiania & people all over the Tri-State area (IN, KY,& OH) are crammed into this one place. I'd have to wait up to an hour some mornings & would always be late for work. When I moved to Minneapolis MN I found a really nice clinic. This clinic let me come in & start at my current 2 week take-out level which took me almost a year to obtain at my prior clinic. I know some clinics will make you start over from scratch despite the fact that you're transfering in with take-homes. This clinic I'm at now has a waiting list that all new patience have to get on. By having a waiting list the clinic doesn't get over crowded & people get in & out at a reasonable time (5 - 10 mins). Sucks because I wanna move again but I also don't wanna leave this clinic... decisions decisions... damn methadone! Always throwing a wrench in things.
