Geting over imbarrassment?

I really want to be a dentest. My friend knows that, but today when I was talking to a friend she asked my advise about braces. I told her when thehy put them on your gums, it doesn't even hurt. I wwant to be an orthodontest and she told me that braces don't go on your gums. I didn't know and I pretended I did and now Im imbarrassed. How do I get over it?

Oh, plus, I HATE stupid people. I think they shouldn't be in the world.

Don't worry about it . I'm sure you will encounter worse embarrassing moments than that. You could say that you meant the gums wont hurt when the braces are put on your teeth.
