Knee pain HELP?!

Knee pain HELP?
I fell yesterday and my leg went under me. Now the inside of my knee is killing me. It's not swollen but everytime I move it there's a sharp pain so bad I scream. With no swelling do I need to go to the doctor? What might it be?
Answers:
It could be a torn ligament (that connects the thigh bone--femur & the bone below the knee--the tibia) or injury to meniscus (pad of cartilage in the knee joint), in both cases u should visit an orthopedician. For the time being avoid walking. Don't take it lightly or it will worsen & don't apply any heat (fomentation and all that is bad for such an injury). Now it might not help much, but applying ice pack is good immediately after the injury. Hope all this helps. Bye. TC.
