I keep falling asleep around 12am,waking up around 2 hours later and falling bac!

Question: I keep falling asleep around 12am,waking up around 2 hours later and falling back to sleep tween 3:30am-4:30am?
I watch a lot of TV before sleep,I'm unemployed, but I do two walks every day,for 1 hour each walk,to try to tire myself out.I also spend around 6 hours on the computer every day job searching and messing around.Anyone got any idea what the problem is?

Answers:

Earlier to bed and earlier to rise. Read a good book before bedtime. Keep walking for exercise.

Your problem could be psychological, or physical, or both. If searching for a job is causing you stress, then it might be keeping you up at night. You could try meditation or prayer (whatever your intellectual or religious persuasion is) as a means of calming your thoughts.

However, you could also/or have a physical or medical issue that's causing you to wake up. If you have a very bad problem with snoring, you may have a sleep apnea or sleeping disorder that's causing you to wake up.

Food and drink habits before sleeping can make a big difference as well. Try not to eat anything before sleeping. If you watch a lot of TV before you sleep, make sure it's turned off before you do fall asleep.

In any case you could consult a sleep specialist. Yes, there are such things and the value of a good night's sleep cannot be overestimated, so I would encourage you to check it out.

Good luck and sweet dreams!
