What do I do to get the pain in a 2nd degree burn to go away?
I just burned my finger on a lawnmower engine, and it started blistering about 20 minutes later. I put ice on it, and it soothed the pain. It burns like it's on fire if I take the ice off,but how do I get permanent relief without a doctor's help?

you don't need medical help. i don't know what some of these hypochondriacs are talking about. get some burn cream. it keeps the air off the burn which helps soothe it plus it may have some topical lidocaine in it. if you don't want to go out just put a dab of butter on it for now. that'll stop most of the burn.
