I'm sick. My friend just gave me some energy drink thing...ive never had one before
I'm dizzy- my hearts being weired feel like im gonna puke.
cant go to doctor her parents areent home and we cant drive
shes trying to call her dad hes a doctor- not answering
Will i be ok ?does this happen to people sometimes? help please!

Ok my brother is going to answer this question b/c he is a doctor....
If you got these symptoms within 30 minutes after having the energy drink then you need to get to a hospital ASAP. If they came 30-45 minutes later, then call your parents and have them get home to get you to the hospital. If you had the drink over an hour ago, then call your parents but don't rush to the hospital.
You will be fine as long as you get treated soon. I am not going to diagnose you over the internet because I have no idea what the amount was or anything but, you need to get help. I was in the ER for 3 years of internship, 4 years of my residency and I am now in there (childrens hospital) and so many teenagers come in with that problem. I am not going to tell you what they get diagnosed with because it isn't the same for everyone. Do not call 911... call your parents non-stop or call her dad non-stop. Then they can come and get you and take you. If no-one answers within 10 minutes of your non-stop calling, call 911 but do not get an ambulance. Talk to the operator lady and tell her your problem. She is trained to help people through issues. There is no need for you to get an ambulance. You just need to get an adult to get to the ER soon (tonight) so that they can flush your system and get it out and monitor you. For now, drink a lot of water and lay down. If you feel sick, get a bucket and lay it next to you. DO NOT take any medication (prescribed, over the counter, advil, tylenol, aleve etc.) that will NOT help when they are trying to diagnose you.
