i was dianosised with lumbar strain by the workman comp doctor my mri show arthritis and disc disease at L1-S1 the pain specialist first saud that my muscle spasm that is worst was at least 51 percent of my injury ive had a nerve conduction test because both of my legs tingle and i have a pain runing both of my legs when i went to physical therapy i felt heat running down my right leg like something was beening poured down it .they didnt do nothing about it but asked me if it was doing right then i told him no then he said i was healed and referred me to my rregular doctor what can be done with workman comp in florida

If you have arthritus and disc disease, that may be why he just referred you to your personal doctor. In some states, if a pre-exsisting condition was the main part of the injury, the work comp claim would be denied. If the arthritus or disc disease was not the main part, let your employer know that you need more treatment. If they refuse, then call the division of work comp in your state and let them know what is going on. You may be entitled to an IME, which is an independent medical exam. Good luck!
