I Get Paralyzed While Trying To Fall Asleep?!

Question: I Get Paralyzed While Trying To Fall Asleep?
Some nights while falling asleep, I immanently wake up, but I'm paralyzed, I start to feel scared or start to hear things, like if it's real life and dream mixed up. I try calling out someone name or try to talk, but I can't or it's either very low and hard to speak. This repeatedly happened until I choose to force my self to stay up a little longer. I'm so curious about because I had this almost my whole life so far, and I'm getting it a lot lately. My dad says it has to do something w/ caffeine.

Answers:

I have the EXACT same, the sensations seem very real at the time and some of them are very pleasant and some not so nice. I always manage to wake myself up, I stay awake for a few seconds to get the vibes out of my system. Then back to sleep....hopefully

Less video games, less caffeine, less junk food, less drugs. It is still not fully understood how brain works, but it's pretty easy to jumble things up in there by forcing it to process stuff it's not supposed to. If cutting down on bad things isn't helping, go and see a doctor, an MR scan should reveal what the problem is.

Same here Loll just need to take more water with it!
