How can you get a cheap check-up?
My girlfriend has a mole that should probably be checked out, but I'd like to get her an overall check-up just in case. Neither of us has insurance. We could afford the initial visit, but if they find something, we couldn't afford the treatment. Anyone have ideas? We live in the Kansas City area.

I think some Wal Marts and even some drug stores have small health clinics staffed with registered nurses, and maybe even a physician. Also, look for low-income health clinics in your area in the phone book or call your local hospital asking if they know where you can get a cheap, or sometimes even free, check up. They should know a place.
