Should I take my meds today, or wait til tonight?!


Question: Should I take my meds today, or wait til tonight?
A few days ago I went to the Dr for the results of my EEG and MRI and found out I have abnormalities in my brain that if not treated will cause me to have brain seizures ( cool huh?).
I was given a medication ( Carbamazepine ) 200mg. 1 pill in the morning 2 at night at bed time.
SO much has been happening today that I for got my morning pill and it's now 4:30pm. Should I go ahead and take the one from the morning then the night time ones, or just wait til tonight?

Answers:

Start with the dosage for bedtime. Take the two tabs of Tegretol tonight.

"Cant ask my Dr, it's Saturday and he aint there" -- You could have had your doctor paged.

follow the instructions said when you miss a dose, or take the dose as soon as possible to not mess up. contact your doctor just to let him know of this.

I would just wait until tonight. Nothing will happen if you forget to take it once.
