Question: Need advice on what to do for splinter!?

I got a splinter from my back porch today that was 2 1/2 inches deep into my heel and about as big around as a pencil. I think it all came out. It was from my back porch. I cleaned it up and put a bandaid on it. Now it's EXTREMELY tender and I can't put any pressure on it. Should I do anything else or just let it be?

Sounds like your are going the right route. I would clean it out with peroxide. Kept it bandaged to prevent infection. Would think it would be sore for a few days so try not to put to much pressure one it. If it starts swelling maybe get a doctor to look at it. Just to make sure check and see when you last had a tetanus shot.

And you're right- you just have to let it have a little time. Put little to no pressure on it. Rest easy, fluff your pillow, and just (like you said) let it be.
