Back aches when I sit down?!

Question: Back aches when I sit down?
I'm almost 17, i am fairly healthy and etc.
I have had just like little back pains on and off for the past month, it's usually when I sit. But this past week, it really has started to ache. I am not sure if it's the weather or what, it's been raining here for about a week. It's not an intolerable pain, it's just an ache in random spots of my back. My mother said it's probably just a pulled muscle and I should just rest it, and if it doesn't get better on it's on within the next few weeks, then I will go to the hospital
How should I make this better though? It's really starting to bug me cause I don't want to have like scoliosis or something xD I think me being paranoid is making it worse.
I feel absolutely fine when I lay down or stand.
It's been like this for about a month, but recently it has been constantly when I sit down.
My mom also says it could be from poor posture. As I am sitting on the computer often, I used to sit with no neck or back support on my bed for a while. Now I am trying to sit up straight in a chair to help it a bit, even though it hurts, I am trying. The pain moves from my back to my neck, it depends on how i am sitting, which the neck pain is starting to give me a headache.
My poor posture along with the fact I sit at horrible desks at school, and a heavy book bag is on my back 5 days a week, may be another factor? I also excercise in the spring, usually jogging, and I didn't warm up a month ago when I did my first jog in a few months because the weather got warm. I could of jolted it? I also have fell a few times within the last 2 months.
Anyway, maybe I am just paranoid, it's not an intolerable pain, just an ache. Any help would be nice :D

Answers:

Your pain is caused by tight muscles in your back that are getting the needed extra pressure on then when you sit down to cause them to go into pain. When you are standing the pressure is off the muscles so they aren't in pain. Freeing up your back muscles will prevent them from going into pain when you are sitting for they won't be pressed into pain then. Here's how to free up your back muscles to get rid of the pains in them from sitting:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
