Can a large 14 year old boy take Vitamin C pills labeled 'for adults'?!

Question: Can a large 14 year old boy take Vitamin C pills labeled 'for adults'?
The pills seem harmless, and I'm six feet tall and fourteen, 150 pounds. It's just Vitamin C. But can I have the pills once daily (like adults will take it) or take one every other day, or take half a day, or any other plan.

Answers:

You can take without worry, it will not hurt you. Would not hurt you if you took 2 of them. Your body uses what it can and the rest goes into your urine and gets flushed out of your body.

Yeah you probably can- when they say 'Adult' they are basically talking about size etc.... So I think you can talk them once a day. If you're worried about that take half but as you say, it's only Vit C!

I'm 15 and I take tablets that say 'For Adults' and look at me- I'm still alive!!! :D

Yes, it's fine.

In terms of medications, 12 and above is normally considered able to have the "adult dose", especially if you're larger than average. You're bigger than some full-grown men.

Vitamin C is in fruit; there is no daily amount of fruit you can have. A small orange has more than your daily recommendation of Vitamin C and kiwis have more Vitamin C than oranges.
It's not like you're over-dosing on iron or codeine.

Yes you can they are good for helping protect from coughs and colds but remember they must be taken as the plan says because they do not build up in your body ~~

Lol come on it is just vitamins. Ofcourse you can.

excess vitamin c gets filtered out of the body, it's not going to hurt you and it's important to take it as we can't produce our own like most animals
