Unknown condition, toes are turning blue, severe back pain?!

Question: Unknown condition, toes are turning blue, severe back pain?
My cousin had back disk surgery a few years ago & never really fully recovered and had always had pain so much he thought it was worse then the prior surgery he had.

Just recently, he's esperienced severe back and leg pains and his toes are turning blue & toe nails are oozing and splitting, the scope/exrays showed nothng wrong and sent him home. It sounds like a circulation problem to me? and was sure this has something to do with his back .

I forgot the name of the test they performed at hosital in Bellvue WA. a camera of some sort that is inserted in and thru the groin area. and again theiy found nothing wrong and is a mystery. any suggestions what would cause this would be helpful

Answers:

Back pains are caused by pinched muscles in the back. All that is needed is to have the muscles freed up and the pain is gone. The medical world prefers surgery to fix pinched muscles. If they don't do anything to free the muscles up the pain is going to be there when they are done. I don't know what they can do in surgery that frees up the muscles. Tight muscles in the lower back, which can be caused by the pinched muscles or are the same muscles, can press onto the nerves going to the legs to cause pains in the legs. I'm always at a loss as to what to guess will happen at this point not knowing what they did in the surgery, will the old way of getting rid of the pain work or not? That being said here's how he could have gotten rid of the pain before the surgery to see if it will help him at all now or not:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For best results relax the body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed. Also, the pinched and tight muscles don't show up on scans or tests so they go undiagnosed.
