Do i have a concussion?!

Question: Do i have a concussion?
i was playing basketball and my friend had the ball, i went to steal it but he didn't see me and turned into me. we banged heads hard, he hit my mouth and i fell back wards. i can't describe how it felt when i fell, it was confusion, and things weren't very clear, but i was aware of what just happened. i hit the ground and all that hurt was my mouth, which was hit. after that, i played one more game because i felt fine. when i got home i felt tired and had a headache. i seemed fine other then that because i could write, type, and do homework. this happened four hours ago.

Long story short:
-i banged heads with a friend
-while falling i was dazed and confused, but aware that i was hit
-hit the ground and was totally aware of what was going on
-played one more game after resting
-got home, headache and tired (possibly from playing)
- can still remember what happened and how.
Do i have a concussion? should i be worried?

Answers:

I do not think you have a concussion. If you have a bump on your head, then you have a contusion. As soon as you are hit on the head, whether or not you have a concussion, you feel confused. When I was in a car smash, I had a contusion. I was unconscious for about a second and I had confusion as to where I was for a few minutes. All I needed was rest and some ibuprofen and I was fine. If you still feel tired, just have a rest and you should be right.

your pupils should be dialted...eager to throw up...blacking out....confussion right after getting hit.ehh you sound alright but I'd call up a doctor be to sure.

nope, but sounds like you got knocked the **** out
