Is this some sort of Sleep Paralysis?!

Question: Is this some sort of Sleep Paralysis?
This is a little strange.. but I'll try my best to explain.

So I think it was around 6pm~ish and I was really tired from school, and my eye's were also very tired from being on the computer a lot and I just curled up on my bed, not really having the intention on going to sleep, but just resting a little. I heard my mom talking really loudly on the phone downstairs, but I just ignored it and closed my eye's. I could still hear her talking on the phone, but I was really relaxed and everything, and thoughts were just kind of going through my mind, thinking about thing's. Then I started to see thing's. Like certain people I thought I knew, but I couldn't really put my finger on them. They all did their own things, like they talked to eachother (I don't remember the conversations) and this one person kept looking at me, but he is the only ones appearance I don't remember. His mouth was moving, it was like he was trying to tell me something, but I couldnt hear him. They we're all Asians, somehow I felt they we're specifically Korean.(I'm Caucasian and don't really have many Asian friends) (At this time, it was like I was dreaming, but I could still hear my mom talking on the phone and the bird's chirping outside, my window was open) Then I didn't see the people anymore, I saw like a dark/grey/cloudy sky, but I saw this thing floating in the sky (I remember something on it, like a stone carved skull) and it was like a narrow waterfall just flowing out of it. I kept getting closer to it, until I was basically standing right under the flowing water. Then I was aware that I was dreaming, so I tried to open my eye's. They didn't open, so I got a little freaked out and tried to move my body, but it didn't move. I just kept seeing this water and sky. I was really freaked out, but then I remembered reading about sleep paralysis on the internet, so I thought this was it, and I tried to calm myself down and I tried opening my eye's again and they opened. I tried to move my body again, and it moved. I didn't feel like anything was watching me or something, but I still felt really strange. Like my body felt weird and my head was kinda dizzy and spinning. I have no idea what this was.. can anybody explain what it was? Or maybe has a similar experience? Thank's for reading this >_<

Answers:

You were in a dream state I suppose (the visuals) and when we dream we are in a state of 'paralysis', but our hearing is the one sense that still remains alert; it's a primal defense thing. :)

Yeah it was. Often you will wake up tired or still sleepy.
