What is this intense feeling in my neck?!

Question: What is this intense feeling in my neck?
I sit for hours in front of the computer, every day. I have an instense, sharp, stabbing feeling in the back of my neck. Sometimes I rub it with pressure & it feels better. Then sometimes it hurts just to touch it. It feels like a lot of tension. But I am still not sure because I took a break from the computer for 2 days & still felt the same feeling! What is it? Please help.

Your neck muscles are pulled tight to be painful and freeing them back up will get rid of the pains for you. Here's how to free up your neck muscles:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about one minute, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

cos your in the same position all day, get up every half hour and roll your neck around. Its called a crick in the neck
