Answers:

I agree, get it checked out by the doc, don't leave till he or she refers u to a specialist. I went to hospital 2 months ago. Period was two days late and nausea dizziness cramps back pain, unusual for me. I think some women just have higher hormone levels surging. Maybe a hormone imbalance. The only thing that helped me in a and e was tramadol and antisickness tablets. But thats treating the symptom not the problem. Furthermore after blood/ urine tests they found FA wrong. If it happens again I'm off to protest in surgery till I get referred. Good luck x

Personal reference

It's not normal or acceptable, and you should see a doctor for investigation and treatment.

You can have tight muscles that are helping make this as bad as it is. When you have your period your body tightens up a bit which normally isn't a problem. But if you already have tight muscles in your body that little bit is going to cause them to go into pain big time. The muscles can press into the nerves, as they leave the spine, to cause pains in organs. Pressure on the nerves to your ovaries can be making the pains worse, pressure on the nerves to your uterus can make the pains worse. Tight muscles in your lower back can press onto the nerves going to your hips to cause the problems in them. Freeing up your back muscles will get rid of anything else that can be making your period pains worse than they have to be. Here's how to free up those muscles to get you relief:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
