Get used to soaking your feet. Almost all home treatments for verrucas call for regular hot water soaks before and after treatments. This softens up the verrucas and dead tissue, allowing for easier removal. It also raises the embedded verrucas slightly, making them easier to spot and treat. It's not so bad. Get yourself a good book and make this ritual enjoyable. Some people replace water with warm apple cider vinegar, which contains acids that will help kill the virus and slough dead skin.

Get rid of verrucas with salicylic acid products. Go to your local pharmacy and get the strongest salicylic acid wart product possible (40 percent in the U.S.). I prefer patches for verrucas, but gels and sticks work, too. Before application, give your foot or feet a good 10–15 minute soak in hot water. Carefully remove excess skin from the verrucas using a file, pumice stone, or emery board. Next, follow the directions and apply the product. While it has a high success rate (75%–80%), salicylic acid treatments can take up to three months to get rid of verrucas.

Use duct tape for verrucas. A few studies have shown duct tape to be an effective verrucas treatment. The duct tape method involves placing duct tape over the verrucas for six days at a time. After six days, soak the offending area in warm water for 10–15 minutes, and then carefully remove dead skin with an emery board or pumice stone. Reapply duct tape and start again. You can add salicylic acid between treatments to speed things along. It may take a month or three, but time is a small price to pay for verruca-free, fetish-inspiring feet.

Get rid of verrucas by freezing them. OTC products (Compound W Freeze Off, Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away) are going to be a lot weaker than the liquid nitrogen used at the doctor's office. Still, many people successfully get rid of verrucas at home by freezing them. While it can work faster than duct tape or salicylic acid, it can be difficult to freeze deep enough to kill embedded verrucas. Clusters of verrucas (mosaic warts) don't respond well to these products.

Get rid of verrucas with folk remedies. Garlic and aloe vera are two popular alternative treatments for verrucas. Aloe vera is said to have antibacterial and antiviral properties, and should be applied several times a day in small dabs until they disappear. Crushed garlic is applied directly to the verrucas and sealed in with a bandage. This will cause the skin to blister, and the wart should fall away in a week or two.

See your local doctor(s) and see if they can freeze them. I had about 7 of them on 1 foot, froze them all off. No pain, and im walking easily again.
